The Museum of Protestantism in Haut-Languedoc, "Musée de France", supervised by the Ministère de la Culture is led and managed by a 1901 law association created in 1967. It gathers 142 Photo members. The third of them are involved in various activities, all of them being volunteers.

The Association is a local section of the History Society of French Protestantism, state approved on 13 July 1870 . It is run by a board of governers of 12 members. Its History and museum activity is under a curator's authority with the help of a technical scientific committee .A charter; passed in General Assembly, is a reference and its action clear.

The Association is involved in the tourist and cultural future programme led by the Communauté de Communes des Vals et Plateaux des Monts de Lacaune.

The regular resources of the Association come from the members’ susbsriptions, supporting donations, entrance tickets to the museum and grants from the Ferrières town Council, la” Communauté des Communes “ and le Conseil Général du Tarn.

The Haut-Languedoc Natural Park, the Midi-Pyrénées Region, the Regional Direction for Cultural Actions (DRAC) support financially the specific plans and actions.
